re:thought was born in 2004 when Co Founders Paul Quick and Robert Irwin joined to create a product design manifesto, SEEDS™. This product certification is the most detailed and in depth certification process for product design. Irwin and Quick became integrated into multiple fields simultaneously and continue to grow their service package to what it is today.

Now in 2009, our team is a multifaceted design firm that brings an integrative design methodology to each challenge facing sustainable product design. Believing that the only way to approach design is to encompass systems thinking. We perform analysis and design from beginning of life to end of life bringing a broad scope of work to the sustainable design field using our personal experience and education. re:thought does not simply follow existing rating, analysis, or design methods. As creative designers with backgrounds in engineering, we provide clients with ground breaking products from concept design through point of purchase.
